PTFE graduate stipends are highly competitive. We currently offer stipends of $23,000 a year for Ph.D. candidates. Graduate research and teaching assistants pay reduced tuition and fees of $542 a semester and receive partial medical benefits. President's Fellowships may supplement assistantships awarded to outstanding applicants.

Students with B.S. or M.S. degrees in Polymer Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Textile Engineering, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Physics, or related fields of science and engineering are encouraged to apply to the PTFE Ph.D. program. We also admit a limited number of students wishing to pursue M.S. degrees.
