Supporting the MSE School

Named Chair’s Chair
Named School

Georgia Tech is recognized for producing exceptional engineers and scientists who are problem solvers and leading the way in research to meet the rapidly changing needs of today’s world. In MSE, we are setting a new standard in educating materials scientists and engineers of the future with the focus on experiential learning. We are changing the face of materials research and education as we aspire to tackle and solve the grand challenges facing our society.

To reach that pinnacle, we seek the endowment for a named Chair’s Chair and the naming of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Georgia Tech, to help make it a flagship program, not only at Georgia Tech but nationally and globally, out-performing the many better-funded private institutions. Proceeds from the endowment will be used to make our vision a reality, and help us transform lives through our mission to develop the materials that will solve crucial societal problems today and provide the materials for a better world for generations to come.
