Sreekumar Veedu, Ph.D.

In 2001 he joined Dr. Kumar¡¯s group as a research scientist.  He received his Ph.D. in 2001 at Indian Institute of Technology, Dehli, India.  He also completed his MS and BS at the University of Calicut, India.  While with Dr. Kumar¡¯s group He studied the structural and mechanical properties of SWNT/polymer films and fibers as well as chemical modification of SWNT.

Currently at DMSRDE, Kanpure 208 013, India.

Currently he is an assistant professor at Okayama University in Japan.

Research Group Alumni

Below is a list former students and research scientist that have worked with Dr. Kumar over the years.

Hongming Ma, Ph.D.

Completed his Ph.D. in Polymers with Dr. Kumar at Georgia Tech in May 2004.  He also completed a MS in Polymers in May 2000 from Georgia Tech.  His Ph.D. research involved studying the photochemistry of copolyesters containing UV functional groups and the effect of crosslinking on the thermal and mechanical properties.

Currently he is working as a research scientist at Dow Chemicals, Houston, TX.
